What Do You Know About Bipolar Transistor Leakage Current

What do you know about bipolar transistor leakage current
the whole of  output current is slightly less than the input current  due to leakage current, for example in common base transistor connection , the  whole of emitter current does not reach the collector . It is because a small percent of it is lost,  as a result of electron-hole combinations occurring in the base area.
Also since the collector to base region is reversed biased some leakage current flow due to minority carriers, therefore the total collector/ output current
1)   Part of emitter current  which reach the collector terminal.
2)   The leakage current which is due to movement of minority carriers across the base –collector junction account of being reversed biased.
Therefore the bipolar transistor leakage current is the due to the effect of minority carriers.
