- Characteristics of common collector configuration
in common collector onfiguration of a
transistor, the input is applied between the base and the
collector which output is taken between the emitter and the collector, hence
the collector of the circuit is common to both input and out put circuit and
hence the name common collector.
in common collector circuit the input current is the base current and out is the emitter
current. therefore the current amplification can be defined as the ratio of
change in emitter current to change in the base current .
