What's the difference between nuclear fission and nuclear fusion

The major difference between nuclear fusion and fission are ; fusion is when two light nuclei under intense pressure and extreme temperature  come together  to form a single atom while fission is when a heavy  atoms break into two unequal nuclei, fusion reaction releases more energy than fission.
Other difference are fusion occur naturally while fission is does not. , fission needs little energy to start while fusion need fission energy to start.  Fusion output is about 3 to 4 times that of fission while fission energy is million times that of chemical reaction, fission require a critical mass and a high speed neutron(or proton or deuteron) while fusion require intense heat and pressure.
