among atoms with low atomic numbers what is the neutron proton ratio of the most stable nuclei

the average neutron to proton ration is 1:1,    atoms with lighter masses tend to be more stable than their heavy counterpart , the light nuclide have fewer protons and hence less coulomb repulsive force between the  them. for this reason excess neutrons are not necessary to overcome  the above force.
