What Force is Responsible for the Orbits of the Planets in the Solar System

1)   what force is responsible for the orbits of the planets in the solar system
the Newton’s  gravitational force of attraction is the force between two masses is the force that keep planet in their orbit around the sun.
The law that states that the force of attraction between two masses M1 and M2 is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the squares of the distance r separating them.  It is give as F=GM1M2/r2, where G is the universal gravitational constant.
