define the term current
amplifications
current amplification is the ratio of output current to input current ,
in a common base transistor connection
it is the ratio of of change in collector current to the change in emitter
current at a constant at a constant collector base voltage, given as α=∆IC/∆IE, base current
amplification is the ratio of change in collector current to the change in base
current, given by β=∆IC/∆IB . in a common collector
connection current amplification is the ratio of change in emitter current to
the change in base current , given by γ=∆IE/∆IB
