N =c/v
N = real depth/apparent dept

 Where n is the refractive index, c is the speed of light in vacuum = 300000000 m/s, and v is the speed in the water (medium).
 We can calculate the speed of light in water if we know the value n,
But n =1.33
 Therefore
1.33= 3 000 000 00/ v

Therefore v =300 000 000/1.33 = 225563909.77m/s
