difference between nuclear fission and nuclear fusion

The difference between nuclear fission and fusion is like adding and division,
nuclear fission involve splitting of nuclides into a smaller one while nuclear fusion involves the coming together of smaller nuclides or atoms to form a larger atom.
but the difference did stop at this only, are following are also very important
·         Fusion reaction produces much more energy than fission, about 3 to four times than fission reaction.
·          nuclear fusion need large energy to trigger it to kick-start while fission does not
·         Nuclear fusion only occur within lighter element, it cannot go with heavy element  because of the large coulomb repulsion force of the positive protons in the nucleus of larger atoms
·         Nuclear fusion has not been harnessed by humans up to date.
·         Hydrogen bombs utilizes fusion while plutonium bombs utilizes fission.
·         Fusion reaction is the primary source of energy for earth , the sun
