what are the two types of nuclear bombs and how do they work

we have two types of nuclear bomb, viz, the fission and the fusion bomb.

 the fission bomb utilizes a nuclear fission reaction where a large nuclear split into two smaller nuclei with a release of energy. where as a nuclear fusion involves a nuclear fusion reaction where two lighter nuclei combine to form a heavier nucleus, followed by a release of energy.
