The two process in which nuclear energy are
released are the fusion and the fission, fusion is a nuclear process that occur
when two light nuclei come together under the action of intense heat and
pressure to form a single atom, the new atom formed is larger and entirely
different in both chemical and nuclear reaction, the energy required to kick
start a fusion process come from fission reaction.
while fission is a nuclear process whereby a larger
nuclei is split into two unequal atoms . an atom to undergo fission is shot
with a projectile, this projectiles are the neutrons, protons , alpha particles
etc.
These are the two process in which nuclear energy is released
