solar radiations are portions of thermal radiations , they are the visible light and heat, the electromagnetic radiations are produced as a result of the nuclear fusion reactions , the reaction between the hydrogen to form helium results in the release of tremendous energy in the form of heat and light. the sun has over 90% of hydrogen by composition and less than 10% of helium. the enormous heat and light liberated are the “sources” of solar radiations.
