Questions under Thermal Equilibrium Between Two Bodies

Some questions and answers in heat and temperature
1.   Explain why it is impossible for a small amount energy to be transferred spontaneously from a large cold body  at a temperature X°C  to large at object at temperature Y°C?
When two of at different temperature are brought together to have a  thermal contact heat(energy) flow the high temperature body ( hot hotter body) to the low temperature body (colder body) until they reach thermal equilibrium, thermal equilibrium means that the two body are literally at same temperature. Heat must flow from the high temperature body to the low temperature body, the hot object losses its energy to the cold object until they both have same temperature,
Therefore energy in nature only flows in one direction and not vice versa.
2.   Is it possible to for two objects to be in thermal equilibrium if they are not in contact with each other?
Yes it is possible for two bodies not in contact with each other to be in thermal equilibrium.’
According to the zeroth law of thermodynamics “if two bodies are separately in thermal equilibrium with a third body, then they are in thermal equilibrium with each other” in other word if body A and body B are in thermal equilibrium with another body C, then both A and B are in thermal equilibrium with each other. The bodies A and B are not in physical contact which other but they have same temperature as body C, therefore they are also at same temperature with each other, the body C can be a thermometer use to compare temperature between separate objects.
