why are gamma rays not deflected in a magnetic field

gamma  rays  are not deflected in a magnetic field because they are electromagnetic waves, they do not contain any particle or charges, and therefore do not possess any property that can be altered by a magnetic or electric field.
An alpha ray is deflected to the positive pole because it is positively charges while a beta particle is deflected to the positive pole because it negative charged.
But gamma ray has neither  therefore it move straight in a magnetic field without any deflections
