how does 14co2 become incorporated into the mammalian food chain?

radiocarbon get into mammalian food chain from a proess that occur in the atmosphere,  when neutron produced by cosmic rays  strike a nitrogen, a nuclear process occur and a radiocarbon is produced.
  the reaction below shows
n + 14 7N → 14C + p
one this radiocarbon is produced it combined with oxygen to produce  radioactive carbondioxide, CO2,  te carbon dioxide  get into diffuse into atmosphere, dissolve in marine bodies and get into plant through potosyntheseis and then animals body.
this is ow it get it fod chains of mammals that feed on green plant and animals.s
