one of the strange consequences of special relativity is that



1. "Length contraction" is a change in the coordinate system, not the object. People moving at high constant velocity feel nothing unusual. You are moving at 30 km/sec around the sun.
2. Time cannot move backward.
3. "Simultaneity" is not Lorentz invariant, so people in different frames see things happening at different times. That is true, but you can get used to it
