Question:How Do You Think Increasing The Resistance In A Circuit Will Affect The Current In The Wire

Do you know that  according to ohm’s law the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference to the potential difference between te two end of the conductor and inversely proportional to the eistancr provided temperature and pressure remain constant., v= ir. I =v/r

this means as the current increase the resistance decreases or as the resistance increases the current increases.   Therefore by increasing the resistance the  current reduces. In a parallel circuit connection adding more resistors decreases the overall resistance of the circuit  and therefore the current reduces while in a series connection adding more resistors  the more the number of resistors added the lower the current will be.
